Get the lowest rate you can from Comcast

Because I haven't been able to get Comcast to lower my cable and Internet bill permanently (see here and here), I have to call them whenever I get new offers from Qwest and DirectTV:

So, instead of a $100+ monthly Comcast bill, they've now agreed to offer me cable and Internet for the next six months at $33 each. So, my bill will now be $66 for the next six months.

The free market can be kind of cool sometimes, but if it really worked, wouldn't the rates be this low on a permanent basis?

So, what are you waiting for, call Comcast today and tell them to lower your bill for the next six months: 877-824-2288.

By the way, is anyone at the Seattle City Council paying attention? They are the ones who let Comcast continue to operate bundling expensive services rather than allowing consumers to pay for the channels they want.
