Get ComCast to Drop Your Cable Rates

I decided to drop down from ComCast Enhanced to Limited Cable to save $38 per month. After telling me there was a $12.99 charge to downgrade - and a $15.99 charge to upgrade later if I changed my mind, they decided to offer me a six month rate $20 less than my current bill. So, the trick is to tell them you want to downgrade service. They first offered me $10 less a month and I said no. Then when I asked them to place the downgrade order they offered me the $20 less a month rate. Sounds to me like Seattle city customers aren't getting the best rate from ComCast. I think the city council really needs to look into this more.

I wish Seattle would open up to Verizon FIOS service to keep the braodband rates competitive.
