Groundspring EmailNow, DonateNow, Enterprise and ActionStudio Released as Open Source
All of the source code to Groundspring EmailNow, DonateNow and the work-formerly-in-progress known as Enterprise as well as ActionStudio has been released to the open source community.
You can visit http://open.actionstudio.org for more information or visit the CVS tree. Enterprise is in the CVS tree as Contact.
Unfortunately, none of this code is supported at this time as Groundspring no longer employs Kellan, Jeff or Todd. In the future, there may be more documentation provided but it will depend on help from volunteers.
All of this code is released via GPL per my merger agreement between ActionStudio and Groundspring. However, it is as is.
If you are interested in AdvocacyNow, I am hosting this service as ActionStudio eAdvocacy. You can find more information about signing up for this service at our Web site. eAdvocacy helps nonprofits run campaigns and action alerts, providing email and fax-based letter writing services to state and federal officials as well as other decision makers. For a limited time, there is no set up fee. The monthly fee is $49.99 plus applicable email and fax delivery costs. Nonprofits can earn up to six months free by referring three customers.
I will be blogging more about Tides and Groundspring and our departure from there soon, including the pending handover of Groundspring to Network for Good and what this means for the nonprofit development community and the network of progressive nonprofits that rely on us.
Hey - the links to the tools on that wiki page don't work.
